4.2 Mining and herbing prices

Hey, on my server Cinderbloom goes for 12g a stack, elementium ore 20 and whiptail for 22. Anyone know if the prices will rise in patch 4.2?
 
it will drop
as i saw the green gems are down fro 5g to 40silver at vendor
 
Herbs going to crash really bad, Darkmoon Decks become a thing of the past hence 80% of buyings will disappear. :( Not sure on ore prices though

Still aren't many alternatives.... Darkmoon decks are still going to be the BiS unless you raid Firelands or Heroic BoT/TotFW/BWD.
 
Great thing is .... In game value of item drops and gold is selling for less too -_- . Well that's the impression I got when I briefly talked to some buyers.
 
We are just 7 months in Cataclysm and the ores and herbs is so cheap, im 4-5 months they are probably going to cost 4-6g...
 
Ya, start making your crafters now...

Resources aren't going to pay the bills soon unless you find the right server or farm old resources. Sold Felsteel bars the other night for 100g each...selling titanium ore stacks for 200g or more...crazy considering nobody wants most of the stuff since felsteel < cobalt and titanium < cata greens...I assume it is just people training up tradeskills? I just price it a silver cheaper than I see it and am making a killing!
 
Yeah ive been selling cobalt ore for like 100g ea and 140 for bars and fel iron ore for 100g. Tbh i dno what to do currently im farming volatile air and its going pritty good but tbh i think WoWs economy will completely crash
 
If WoW's economy crashes blizzard will do something to fix it, or make it bounce back. It's not like their just going to watch there game and lose sales, since people enjoy making gold and such.... just imo tho.
 
What servers are you guys playing on T_T I bot on 5 servers (all medium-high servers) and none of the prices for ore are below 28g a stack, and Cinderbloom stays in the high 20s or low 30s, and Whiptail stays in high 30s. Incidentally, volatiles are expensive as hell now. I'm still making 10k+ a night from each bot; I'm not seeing too huge of a drop.
 
New crafted gear from existing materials = big demand increase and a big cost increase. Elementium in particular will go very very high initially. I won't be surprised to see it sit at 100g / stack for a while. All the new crafted weapons are blacksmith recipes, and they'll all use elementium and hardened elementium bars. If you're clever you're stocking up on it. Also, very good chance epic gems are coming this patch, and also very likely they'll be prospectable from pyrite. So expect a HUGE price increase in pyrite. Good thing I've got 4 bank tabs full of it!!

Don't forget truegold, on my server it's dropped from 1500-2000 in 4.0, to around 500-600 since 4.1. Expect to see that go right back up too.

I'd be stocking up on volatile lifes too, they're around 8g each on my server, I'm predicting they'll be 18-20g each shortly into the patch.

Soooo much money to be made in the first few weeks of a patch! I love it!

lol wot ???

Ore/Bars will rise ALOT for atleast a week or so.. since everyone will want to craft the new gear
 
cinderbloom is 38-45g/stack, whiptail is 50-60g/stack and elementium ore is like 40g/stack on my server atm.

and yet i still prospect the ores, and mill the herbs and make DMF cards >_>

yea and if i was you account that everyone leveling those profs are gonna want higher mats after so u might hit a bit of a spike, that and farm them in few hour intervals. where each set u farm is one higher than the one before so u can sell "kits" for leveling profs
 
everything will rise AFTER a week or so after the patch, quite a bit, and just slightly in the first week into the patch. Prices will peak 3-4 weeks later and gradually fall to normal with herb prices going even more down later on, because Darkmoon cards will have less and less demand. That's how I see it coming...that's of course not taking into account other server local factors.
 
Elementium stack 13g, whiptail 18g, cinderbloom 21g, azhara veil 25g.
 
the mining prices are shit on my server ful of botters high pve server 20 Elementium ore for 16 g i know when i sold 20 of those for 70 g they are ruining the ah
