4.2 coming up > Your plans till then and after?

Hey all

With the 4.2 coming up next week, i'd like to know what you guys are up to atm and when it hits.
I'll be capping my 4k honorpoints, so i can buy some viciousgear straight away and the other points will be converted to gold.
Don't know if it's worth to farm something special, cause some demand might rise in 4.2?

If im hp capped, won't the justice points just be converted to gold?
You get Justice cap by using IB?

There will be new craftable epics (and weapons from blacksmithing ilvl 365 afaik) so farming mats would probably net you a ton of gold the first week(s)

K, farming honor now with changing them to justice points on my chars.
That will give me 8k honor for vicious stuff when 4.2 hits.

Less because the conversion is:

Honor Vendor: 350 Honor = 250 Justice
Justice Vendor: 350 Justice = 250 Honor


Currently I have 7 85's that are Honor and Justice Capped. Going to be buying full raiding gear with the Justice Points when 4.2 hits, continue farming HP and transfering to JP. Once I get full 359 raiding gear from Justice Vendor, will work on Vicious pieces for everyone, and also clear all Normal Content, since its all getting nerfed, and work on Heroic gear for all my guys. Should be more and more heroic pugs/GDKPs now that Firelands will be live in a few weeks.

So, in about 4 months from now, should have 7 85's in full Vicious PvP gear, as well as pieces of the new Ruthless (think its called that) set and have a good amount of ilvl 372 pieces per toon.

Just transferred 4 of them to other accounts so I now have 5 accounts, so I can raid with all 5 in 25 man pugs, and run BGs together. Got a RestoSham, HolyPaladin, FrostDK, Frost Mage, MM Hunter, all running together in BG's .


I think I got a good plan going. - what do you all think?

World of Warcraft update 4.2, Rage of the Firelands, will introduce the first new raid tier in Cataclysm, and with that it will also introduce the first conversion from Valor Points to Justice Points. For anyone running Heroics and raids, this is important information to ensure you spend your points wisely before release of the patch.

With the release of patch 4.2 all Valor Points will be converted down to Justice Points up to the 4000 point cap, with any points over the cap being converted to gold at a rate of 47 silver per point. In addition, all previous Tier 11 Valor items will now be purchasable with Justice from the Justice Point vendors, and new Tier 12 Valor items will be available from the Valor vendors.

For example: I have 3300 Justice Points and 1600 Valor Points. Upon logging in after 4.2 releases I’ll see that my Valor has been down-converted to Justice; I now have 4000 Justice Points and 0 Valor Points. 900 of my Valor Points were over the 4000 point cap, they converted at a rate of 47 silver per point (.47x900), and so I received 423 gold as compensation.

The maximum you can have is 4000 Justice points, and Justice will be able to buy Tier 11 gear, so it’s important to go ahead and spend Valor before 4.2 if the conversion would take you over the 4000-point Justice cap and you have no need for the gold.

Doesn't mention Honor Points, but Justice Points will stay. Safe bet is max your Honor Point, just in case they do a Conquest Point to Honor Point conversion.

Also, you mentioned patch 4.2 being next week. That was the running theory up until yesterday. According to an article from the WoW website and how recent the latest ptr build is, the expected release date was pushed back until June 28th.

Once HB is good, I also plan on making profiles for the new Firelands daily quests and whatever new quest hub comes out for new Firelands rep. Probably won't make it public until all of my 85's on done with it.

They will be released once I'm done with them. I am on a very high pop server, and would rather compete my bot vs hand players than bot vs bot. When its all done, it will be for the community! Have to figure out how to do them first, gonna need some CBs made for it, tried the quests out on PTR and just gotta sit down when 4.2 goes live and figure it out.
