3x Accounts banned

Im a Ex Pirox user, been botting for well over 3 years, however have used GB2 for the past month or so, today i Just landed myself 3 bans.

2 of them were running "w00ts Twilight Highlands"
1 of them running [GB2] Uldum (Mining; Elementium & Pyrite) mail & repair [Neutral] shaddar

Used to run them close to 24/7 with pirox now slightly less, not sure why i got banned now after one month, seems abit harsh to be banned the last day of the year

Sorry for your loss, but running 24/7 (or "slightly less") while using public profiles is just asking to be banned.

Look around for ZapRecorder. It takes 15 mins, if that, to make your very own profile no one else will have.

is it a permanent ban? and what did the mail you recieved tell you?

Dont care about account name etc, since account is perma banned and they declined my ticket to have the case relooked.

Well i can tell you that i got about 30 accounts banned last month using pirox. Different pcs/ips/mac ids running private farming profiles and private questing profiles.
This all happened at the ~20-26 december. Reason was exploitation.
This let me to believe that pvptool is now detected and that they are dishing out bans. So it could be that you got yourself banned for using pirox since we dont know when pirox gave the sourcecode to blizzard.

Before anyone asks:
No connections between accounts.
Payed by gamecard.
Payed with the same ip / mac id structure as the bots which were running on that account.
Did not sell Gold on all of them.
No "save" account to guard the guildbanks of multiple bots = 1 guard for 1 bot.
Got banned using my questing profiles which only i have.
Every ip mac setup used its own wow folder.

I have said more than once that if Blizz wanted to banwave HB, it wouldn't be hard... publically posted profiles with hard coded hot spots with no deviation in them (or even possible) is one easy way. Simply 'look for the patterns'... but most likely these are not Blizz detecting them, but other players recognizing the patterns and reporting them.

Learn from others... get Zaprecorder and record your own profiles... make them multi-loop (record literally 4-5 loops around the area instead of just one so your bot will not retrace the same exact hotspots every 20-30 minutes)... and try to 'round out the turns'... (this is one of my pet peaves... I can't stand it when my toon does a 120 or higher jerk turn... so I will watch ZapRecorder when it places a hotspot and make sure that I make the next hotspot less then 90 degrees from it... yes, it sometimes is a little less then optimal... but for me, it's easier to watch without flinching.

I think that the GB2 mining improvements that were made recently were a great step in helping us 'mine more like humans' (I saw that refinements are being worked on - Thank you!)... now we have to do our part to make sure our toons are not following the 'same old, same old' circles in the sky, literally following each other in a conga line searching for nodes.

ya i got a ban using woots and so did a friend. i posted somethin on the thread about it. people still use it though like mad. i saw 15-20 people on that route yesterday on my server all at once...how do they even make anything off that lol
