32 Slot Mammath Mining Bag = <3

So I finally face palmed last night and realized how much time I lost by not using 4, 32 slot mammoth mining bags haha. 48 extra slots is a HUGE time saver. I had every bag full this morning with saronite ore topping off at 1 hr and 10 minutes of smelting time total. 7 hours on Safe profile did the job.

Any other tips on how to save time and get more or faster?

maybe 3 bags, seeing as you will get gems and they feel your main bag quick in my expierence

I use the macro that condenses the crystallized into eternal but yes I can see how that would cause a problem

Not the crystallized, the gems that you occasionally get. If you're going to fill up 3 mammoth mining bags, you're going to end up getting more gems than your backpack can handle, and you will need some extra space for those gems.

I have lootfilter kill gems, especially greens. They don't sell for much anyway.

On my server they sell for 20-30g/stack...I get 4-5 stacks a day (2 bots per server but one is in stormpikes...he doesn't get much gems)

Each blue gem vendors for 3g which is nice (60g+ for a stack of them), and the greens sell fairly well (30-40g per stack on my server).

congrats, but not keeping gems is throwing alot of $ away, i don't care which server you're on.

I can sometimes get up to 150g per stack of green gems. Generally get at least 65g/stack so they are well worth it. I run with 3 mining bags and a gem bag.

well looks like most of the 'profession' bag paterns are going upto 36slot for cata (based on the enchant and her bags tailors can make)... and reg bags are 22 and 24slots.. so there's going to be some growing room in the future

I lootfilter all the green gems except those used in icy prisms. I find the extra space for saronite pays for itself since I have to waste less time going to the mailbox/gbank.

Actually there is not hundreds of gems, after ~12h of botting, I still had 3 slots left in my bag.
And it looked stable

Yeah 4 more slots for 36 slot bags isnt much but every little bit helps, thats 12 more stacks of ore. Keep all those eternal earths too because Engineers will be using those to level higher after cata.
