3 of 5 SoR's banned at the same time.

First off, I know some of my mistakes and I wont be repeating them. I will list what I know I most likely did wrong at the end here:

1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account?
Honorbuddy only

2)If so, when was the last time?:
Up until the ban

3)What profile were you using?:
An instance profile, heavily edited by myself, not going to state the name because I don't think it is relevant and I don't want any sort of link here.

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname:
Singular Death Knight

5)What plugins are you using?:
None

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?:
See below

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?
95%

7)How many auctions per day did you have?:
10-20 on a few of them, nothing excessive at all.

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods?
No

9)Was your account involved in gold selling?
No

10)EU or US realm?
US


Things I know I did wrong were:

1) In the midst of leveling these five accounts, getting them running consistently without hiccups, and learning to make profiles, edit one a ton which I was using up until this ban, and writing some basic plugins for myself, I probably let these accounts run in the range of 18 hours a day. Maybe slightly more, and honestly the exact time I don't know, but I WAS aware I shouldn't be boting that amount of time, just let it slip my mind during all this (didn't do a ton of tracking on times)

2) I did not add variety, and the reason is, I assumed/thought/believed - Never interact with people in the world, never get reported, account never gets looked at, my statistics never get looked at (oh he killed such and such bot an amazing amount of times...) and I never get banned because no one ever looks. (and hopefully I play a small enough of hours that in-game detection doesn't happen. Going forward I will be doing and hour or 2 of daily's a day, and some professions (herb, mining) posting some auctions, etc.. just stuff to recent activity and/or whatever.

As a side note:
All 3 accounts received "Your password has been reset" right before the bans.
These are SoRs which were merged 2-3 weeks ago, and began last week, and got to 85 within 2-3 days.


Just posting this here for some speculation from you guys, how to maybe go about recovery (I did already send in tickets while playing stupid) and just whatever.... hell maybe I just want someone to talk to! lol...

Edit 1:

Just received 2 of the 3 replies: 1 was changed to "we can confirm our initial findings" (not a chance, but I might try to curse them out and get somewhere) and the other got a please submit ID verification.

Two things:
1) Do I curse them out and go for the gusto? I am afraid they might investigate my IP and maybe get my other accounts banned.

2) Submitting my ID with the name currently on the battle.net? Any chance?

Just received the third email... this one is super peculiar, so the original email on all 3 said "notice of account closure" and the follow up email on this one says:

"Thank you for your follow-up contact regarding the account XXXXXX. This account was issued a 72-hour suspension after evidence was produced indicating one or more characters on the account were found to be using an unauthorized cheat program. These programs provide character benefits that are not achievable in the World of Warcraft through normal means. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, character automation (also known as "botting"), increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. These types of programs offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game."

wtf? Error on GM's part, overturned to a 72 hour now, or?? I mean it said Account closure, nothing about 72 hour bans.
What do you think the reason is I got banned on all 3 at the exact same time. I did buy RAF time and I am thinking the seller had the codes for those 3 I bought probably off the same stolen credit card, so when that card got investigated, boom, all 3 just got linked through that means.

EDIT 3: Just went in to file another ticket to see if it was in fact a 72 hour, and it says my account #3 is only suspended!! woot!

So the status stands are 3 banned, 1 suspended, 1 ID needed, 1 no overturn, but still pushing it. Just replied with an angry reply talking about farming a rare item that wouldn't drop (it never did).

Can anyone direct me through PM or something to proper means to getting a name onto a ID to send in? I don't know photoshop.. ty!

1: They don't invesitage IP's from my experience, that would cause alot of issues in collages and internet cafe's.

2: Might as well, you already lost them, what could it really hurt.

You probably got hacked.
And they ban because of this.

I really doubt 3 accounts previous owners would all receive the emails at the same time, and then they would just so happen to ban all three of those accounts at one time. Furthermore they stated the reason for the bans to be "exploitative activity found"

Edit 1:

And after looking into this more, I believe I was banned for buying RAF time which in turn led to an investigation of my account, which in turn meant that the clearly suspicious accounts were banned. I say this because I bought RAF time on 5, and the three which were done in that order, all got banned, and the other 2, who also bought RAF, and did the exact same routine for the same amount of time (and actually they each have 50+ more boss kills) didn't get banned. On a very important side note, one of those 3 who got banned was on a completely different realm which the other 4 were all on the same, so in my mind, the only thing linking them is the RAF time bought. Live and learn I guess.

The point is, It is from the RAF time, that is the only link, and even if they were not "clean enough" they wouldn't have got banned instantly, at the same exact time. That means 1 GM looked at all 3 and made a decision. Also, I did buy from "the source" they were unmerged, and all 3 of these accounts have 1 or multiple 70s from wrath on them or vanilla, and many with over like 50 days played on 1 character. Hell the 3rd one had 98 days on its paladin at lvl 70...

If it is still unclear: 1 stolen credit card bought those 3 codes, I used those 3 codes, on these 3 accounts, 1 GM investigated this credit cards stolen codes, and 1 GM banned those 3 accounts. I can think of no other tie I have made between those 3 accounts that was not made between all 5 of my accounts.

I have used SoR accounts for a while now, At least 2 years now if your SoR accounts on same battlenet and they all where botting at the time of the incerdence all they would of done is look at the hours on all of them and went, Hmmm how does one stay up for 18 hours a day 7 days a week. BAM! Bot like a human and you will never get banned if you are doing the instances yourself that is.

I was only very rude after being very polite. Next time I would probably continue to be polite.

They were not under the same battle.net like I said in my post. And of course I understand the 18 hours a day, which I also said in my post.

Well that is a horrible way to view things. Not insightful at all and anyones SoR could get banned, but not anyone SoR(s) at the exact same time. Thanks.
