24 Hour Suspension

Was given a 24 hour suspension for trading gold between two separate accounts.

Ridiculous amounts such as 50-200K?

No, I traded 4 fucking K in the mail between two accounts and got suspended. I thought you were only picked up for large sums of gold, such as those exceeding maybe 20k.

Anyway this is just a warning... Don't send gold within the K's on EU. Maybe I should have traded face to face to avoid it, but 4k? I didn't know that would be any trouble.

I've traded several 100k's and I haven't been banned yet And those are gold farmers lol

It really shouldnt have any effect that you transfer 4k gold to another. Unless they've gotten complaints about the account.
But you were just extremely unlucky, but who cares man.. You survieved the armageddon!

Same, I have just recently gotten into this gold selling business, and have successfully sold 40k, face to face. Is it because I sent it in the mail? but 4k? that's literally nothing. Wondering if I should appeal it and make up a story that it was my friend who was quitting.

They'll check the IPs. Just wait out the 24hours. You don't want them looking at your chars in detail.

That is daft, but between chars on different battle.net accounts I don't trade any gold or items unless it's legitimate. Use a guild bank for the trade in future.

Yeah I was thinking about the IP thing, decided I'll wait it out... Too bad I'm going on holiday (without wow ) so I won't be able to play until the 30th. Was looking forward to playing the whole day today.
