24/7 botting and other viabilities

I've been looking at using gb and gold selling as a way to make a small amount of cash in my spare time (comparable to that of a Saturday job, maybe ?30 a week)... been running the numbers and I'm struggling to see it as a viable way to make a profit without running the bots for 16+ hours a day, preferably 24/7 but I'm dubious whether this would flag you up to warden, and ofc you have a MUCH greater chance of being noticed by players. It seems that given current gold prices and judging by the amount my bot makes in 8 hours, I'd want to run 6 bots off one machine and run them all 16 hours a day at least every day of the week.

So to anyone who does 247 botting or uses gb to supplement their full time income... tips and tricks? I've been botting for a while but only for private use, sold a very small amount of gold in the past so I feel like I know the basic ins and outs of how to maximize profit without flooding the ah etc.

You're looking at making a little more than 30 pounds a week running 6 bots 16 hours a day mate , try being a little more honest and you might get some help.

That's interesting, do you change areas a lot? Also how many bots on how many servers?


And my 30 quid a week was a quick estimate. By my calculations getting 6k gold over 16 hours selling at ?0.00025 per gold. Taking into account running costs of each bot I calculate roughly 200 profit per month? Ofc this is a hugely rough estimate and so it can't be relied on. This works out at 50 per week, take 20 off that for either dud sessions or anything else that might happen and we come out to 30pw. Perhaps I'm being overly cautious with my calculations... what do you think?

On one server I've managed to get 20$ per day with only 12-16 hours of botting, this is 1 account.

I make around 15k Gold Every day on 1 bot herbing / mining for 12 hrs per day.. At current crappy gold rates that would be 10 Pounds Per 12hr for 1 bot... I think you need to check your Figures..

PS: I don't sell gold I kit out my alts and buy crap for my main I otherwise wouldn't without a surplus of gold.

Maybe I'm doing the botting wrong lol, my guy does herb and mining.. but I only sell the rare stuff. vendor the common ores and herbs because I don't want to flood the ah every night with dozens of stacks of mats, don't really want to spend the time prospecting, turning gems into greens, greens into enchanting mats etc as this seems like a lot of time spent on something where only a little extra profit is made.
What do you guys do with the gbanks worth of raw mats?

Also where are you getting 10 pounds for 12k? At ?0.00025 per gold it comes to ?3 for 12k

I use One of the addons found here to automate all my milling and prospecting, make darkmoon cards and turn gems into necks/rings that I also Auto DE, I dont vendor anything.

Isn't gold approx $1 USD per 1000 , that would be a similar conversion to the above, maybe my maths is wrong, I am sure some of the gold sellers here can advise.

From what I can tell its $0.0005 per 1 gold in most places, so $0.5 per 1000. At approx us to UK conversion rates its something like ?0.00025 per gold. Maybe a but more but going with a rough estimate.

I typically do as Benfica does, with a small difference, not only do i do the cards and the DE but i turn a lot of the herbs into flask/potions. ATM flasks/potions are selling for a really good price. Mat collecting about 4hrs, making flasks/pots about an hour, 6k gold in a day easy. I am also doing this very casually not really trying, i am more interested in gearing/supplying my mains for raids...
