I just dont get it, tried to search and did not see it posted..

can some share the "how" you get to 230 gf
 
LOTS AND LOTS of money lol.

Im buying pieces 2-5 mil just to get the max 25% GF right now.

If you are on EU i still have 24% chest piece to sell and a 25% belt. lemme know.
 
every slot but weapon has a 20% GF item helm can go to 50+ with gem, amulet ive seen 45 + shield 25+
 
Use the auction house. Filter by gold find.
Also, equip your follower with gold find gear since 20% of their's goes to you.
 
Just buy GF items.
Also buy pickup range, your stat (dex for example) and movement speed. Attack speed and vitality also if possible.
Neck can get 40%. Rings 25% or more. Think most other items can get 20-40%. Helm you can get gold find+a gem with 23% or more gold find.
Havent seen any gold find on weapon, might exist on legendary / set though, know mf weapons exists.

Because it is so many botters the demand for gold find items is very high though.

Look for gold find at 24% for most equipment slots. Look for 39% on ammy, and 19% on rings. It will be way cheaper and put you way 230% gold find for somewhat cheaply. You also may want to look for good deals on GF + Radius and GF + MF.

Oh and helm look for a helm with 14gf and with an empty socket. Then put a flawless square in and BOOM your on your way to GF success.

since my toon is not yet 60...i was limited..and that just dawned on me..when I was searching on AH..i was not seeing the "max" items..as my toon is 56..

makes sense now..

You've 12 standard pieces of equipment (asides from weapon) which can give you gold find. If each of these pieces gives you minimum of 15%, that's 180% right away. Amulets can have 40% I think, and some pieces are cheaper than others (got shoulders or bracers before with 24% gf for around 100k).
Add rings and an amulet to your follower, and a shield if using the templar, for another possible 20% boost. And don't forget to get a helm with a socket.
Try and get some pieces with pickup radius aswell, or some of your useful attributes (eg. dex, vit). A good starter set can be bought for less than 500k.

Oh, and don't look for gold find and magic find untill you have enough gold. It's expensive. Spent around 4 or 5 million last night to get a set with around 230% gf and 180% mf. Sarkoth runs make it worth it though. Bringing in 300k a hour and got 3 legendaries today!

EDIT: Forgot to mention weapons. Theres a legendary called "three hundreth spear" that gives magic find bonus. The witch doctor can get a dagger to increase gold find, and everyone else can get a legendary called "wirt's original leg".

Basically. i have 220% and spend almost nothing... i spent max 30-40k a piece.. most right around 20k a piece... i didnt go for the most %. i slowly inched my searches down by a % each time until i started seeing reasonably priced items. it will KILL your dps. but hey thats why we farm on nightmare eh
 
Spent a fortune getting to 250+ Running around 216gph on my wizard on sark. And 240gph on my monk in core.

Seems low..... Both have pickup radius of 28 or more

Edit: and run speed.
 
cost me 15mil to get 299gf for my demon hunter... just pick out GF+Main stat and thats all you need.

edit: and the DH is running at 25% MS
 
you guys farm nightmare not Hell or inferno? I have 190 GF and only avg 151k an hour over 342 runs. I want to get more GF but ill die in inferno if i do is it better money to drop down to nightmare? and put 250+ GF?

you can get GF on a weapon its called The Sultan of Blinding Sand can go up to 25% GF and there pretty cheap.

aye but its a 2hander you can already get a shield with 25 on it we need a 1hander with GF on it
 
cost me around 3-4mill for 250gf i did snipe alot of items though, spent alot of time refreshing the AH over an over heh, dont forget to give your merc some GF!
 
i was in the same position as you, i am now up to 327%(Waiting for some more money to get the best emerald gem. im still using a shitty +21%) GF as a barb. getting 62% Movement speed and only like 7 yards pickup. i have some left over gear if you would like to buy cheap. it should definately help you out. i started out spending everything i had on 1 piece of gear at a time. its been 4 days. i was a 160% and ive now doubled what i had. but like i said message me(i prefer for you just to reply to me with a quote but up to you) on here.
