Today just a couple of minutes ago, i activated my bot account. Made a new toon, and gonna quest from 1-90 (hopefully without interrupts) this account was also in the 6 month ban. So i will be running HB with default plugins (except the NewYear2016 plugin that rebuff to increase xp)

Im going to level a rogue (i dont have one on my bot account) with only theese XP gear (shoulders,chest and 2 trinkets) singular CC and kicks profiles.

Started with 0 gold, 0 bags (except the one you actually start with) so everything will be "untouched"

I will post my progress / if i get banned. (i might over react but i already got 2 accounts permbanned, and i dont feel like to get my current main account banned again)

Sorry but you're asking for a ban. And since you claim to already been banned you will get a perm ban for sure this time. Don't bot on accounts you don't want to lose. And in my case, don't ever bot again. Period.

If, in your case, don't bot ever again.....why not just leave the forums and let people choose to bot if they want to?
 
Default plugins/profile/settings is how people get banned. Kick's by itself is a horrible idea, especially on a marked account.
 
When typing this the time is 15:42 CET 2015-11-20 i am currently level 39, no whispers no nothing. Been up and running for 13 hours

While it is possible, questing bans are very *very* rare.
On average, I have at least 5 bots running 1-100 - stress testing the questing profiles for bugs, and I've never recieved a ban for it.



Speaking of stress testing the questing profiles for bugs, if you come across any Granis - be sure to let us know. ;P

You don't have to act so butthurt. It's the truth. You will get banned no matter what. I think May 13th pretty much proved that. HB has never been as "undetectable" as it was before. People are getting banned much easier now for different reasons. Let it be Garrisonbot or Fishing in Garrison. Those things could be considered "safe" before May 13. But now you will get banned if you do it sooner or later.

It's just stupid to see people continue botting on accounts that came back from the 6 month ban or botting on accounts that they care about. I have been botting causally before May 13. Only doing Garrisonbot on a few alts and leveling some characters.

TS clearly cares about his account and is asking for advice. I gave him my piece of mind. Telling me to piss off is none of your business. This is an open forum. And since botting has helped me through boring stuff such as leveling and been a big part of my WoW career. I like to read on these forums and sometimes simply laugh at how stupid people are or to give advice.

So yeah... hope that oiled up your soar bum a bit.

Whatever thing you 2 have im not a part of it but i will say this.

First of, i never asked for advice...not even close to it
Second, i clearly stated that i had activated my BOT account, not my main account. And so far the bot runs like before aka perfect, no whispers no nothing.


UPDATE 2 on my bot session:

02:37 CET 2015-11-21 i am currently level 56 and gathered 334 gold no issues yet !


EchoTiger: I cant remember the quest name but the one when you are going to remove the huge stone that is on top of the NPC, the bot just runs back and forth not using the item given from the quest to "tame" the "mountain grom" or whatever he is called.

UPDATE 3: It is now 13:09 CET 2015-11-21 and i am currently level 64 and gathered 770 gold. The bot has been running since 2015-11-20 time 02:24 CET non-stop, no whispers been recived, or people said anything in /say message.

I can only level to 90 so from 90 and forward i cant be to any help, but when this toon hits 90 i will start doing thinks like herb/mine/archeology/dungeons (if anyone plays at 90)

If anyone wants to gift me WoD feel free to PM me a key lol (yeeeeeeeeees i know no one will do it, and no i dont expect it...its a joke, move along please)



EDIT: UPDATE 4: Have to turn of the computer for a little while when moving shit, bot will be offline from 14:50 CET 2015-11-21 till i dunno. But for thoose wondering if its safe to bot on a account that was in the 6month ban wave, so far i can say YES it is, just dont do anything stupid like BG bot or mine/herb bot 24/7.


EDIT 2: UPDATE 5: Its now 22:21 CET 2015-11-21 and the botting continues, currently level 65 !

Lol. Did you even read what I wrote? I got banned 6 months ago on my 2 main accounts. I wanted to take small break from WoW but was back within a few days. Full WoD account. Leveled several toons by hand. Now I have my 2 main accounts back. Playing happily by hand. Watching stupid people like you getting banned again. You will get banned when using HB sooner or later. May 13 was a fact.

I'm enjoying my 3 accounts now. Making loads of gold without bot by playing just a few hours a day.

Stop talkinh crap. You know nothing about me sir.

We've had this quest come up in the past as problematic.
I believe it was originally removed, but Kick added it back as he had an idea that would fix it.

I'm not sure if he implemented his fixes or not, but for safe-being, it may be a good idea for us to remove it again.
 
UPDATE 6: 16:26 CET 2015-11-22 i am now level 70. And the quest Repurposed Technology in Borean Tundra, the bot just stands at the farm field where the Harvest Collector paths around.

Other then that i havent had any issues with the TBC content and nothing really in the Vanilla content.

No, people are NOT getting banned easier now. In fact, the number of bans going out has actually decreased since the banwave. I believe it was Mirabis or EchoTiger that actually has graphs on this. Additionally, spending 2 minutes in the ban reports forum will back that up...And that's considered hard evidence.

Nothing ever has been, nor will it ever, be considered safe when it comes to botting. The HB team has never once in the history of HB said the bot was undetectable, nor that it was actually safe to bot. You assume certain risks when you bot, the risk is completely on yourself. If people don't realize that, they shouldn't be here, yourself included.
 
I want to be able to use it on my main account, but I dare not. I really can't be arsed to learn how to play anymore
 
UPDATE 7: The quest Winterfin Commerce (for me) the bot just stood there without having the quest item needed. So i paused the bot and went to collect them myself then flew back to quest giver and started it, now even with the quest item in bags it still wont return it.

So i turned it in myself and what i found was if the bot needs to sell or repair (the quest giver is also a vendor) it wont return in the quest because the bot only "command" is to repair/sell.


EDIT: UPDATE 8: The quest The Gearmaster bot just stands there, and wont press the book on the table, had to do it manually !

Been slacking a little bit...

10:26 CET 2015-11-23 i am now level 77 and gathered 2505 gold, ive gotten 2 whispers during this whole time.

1 was a fake GM message, and the other was a more of a "nice hat lol" wich i replied to, i havent had any issues at all, just a minor "bug" with a NPC (read post above) so from level 1 to 77 the bot is running perfect with default plugins and with kicks profiles.
 
20:12 CET 2015-11-23 i am currently level 83. I came across a bug with the Mount Hyjal profile, the quest Death to the Broodmother, the bot just stands there on the mount not using the item for the quest !
 
TY so much for doing this, I was banned in the 6 month wave and have been wanting to come back to raid and use the CR's but I also had 3 other accounts up and banned during that time. I think I might have been IP banned but not sure.

Seems like a recurring issue where the bot is having trouble with quest items.
I'll mark these down and keep an eye out for them when I have my testers running - thanks!
