95% -- I only did it when I was sitting at the computer, but typically watching movies while doing it.

My letter to Blizzard in case it helps others:

Hello Blizzard Employee

Recently while trying to log on to World of Warcraft, i got the error message stating the account had been banned. The email I received stated that it was due to use of third party programs. I'm not entirely sure what third party programs I was suspected of using, so any information on this would be appreciated so that I don't make said mistake again if granted access back to my account.

I've been a loyal Customer of your company and a fan of Wow for several years now, (only taking a break from World of Warcraft long enough to play Diablo 3 for a while) since around when the Burning Crusade expansion was first released, and just in the past two years have spent a fair sum of money just on extras such as transfers, faction changes, and account upgrades. Not to mention the subscription fees accumulated over the years. I have had, nor see any reason to, no reason to use any third party programs such as "Bots / Hacks / Etc" to make my game play more exciting. I even set up a second account so that my stepbrother could also enjoy the game, on account labeled WoW1. He informed me that this account also got banned.

The one thing about this game that I always enjoyed , in comparison to others, is the interaction I have with people around the world. I have made many friends, whom i've had the pleasure of meeting in real life, and would be very grateful to be able to continue playing with. If granted access back, I will make a point to read over all the policies just to make sure there wasn't something I missed which led to my banning. And with your approval, I would like to continue to be a paying, playing wow fan for many years to come.

If you copy it word for word I am sure Blizzard will notice a trend by the thousandth or so letter ......

If it makes you feel any better, god, I actually considered this as I posted it. However, I figured if Blizzard takes the steps to track this down, then I commend them on their efforts

Like Kidkaddy posted, I am trying to be helpful towards others that aren't sure of what to say when they get banned. Obviously, this is not a guarantee this will work!
