2 WoW Clients running at the same time

Hello,

Does anybody know if blizzard can detect on what WoW client I'm currently running HB on?

I'm thinking about getting a second wow account and use it with HB, and while the bot is leveling or doing something else, I want to play by hand on my main account.
I don't mind if I will lose my second account if another banwave happens with HB (that's still the risk of botting), but I do not want to lose my main account (that was already banned for 6 months in the first banwave).

in short: I want to run 2 WoW clients with one HB sessions attached to my second account. is my main account then safe if I play my main account by hand while running a second wow client with HB?

Setup a virtual machine and run the bot in that, then no danger.

you have any recommended settings for the VM? (I'm using virtualbox).

unless anybody knows if a vm is not needed and a my main account where no HB session is attached is safe?

your main shouldnt be able to get banned if youre on a different battlenet ive heard that if you bot on your main battlenet but not on main wow license only the license you bot on will be banned but i could be wrong this was a year ago

I'm on the same battle.net account. but I know that only the wow account will be banned where they detect the bot. So your main account won't get banned if you are botting on the same IP? Like for instance if i bot on my laptop but not ever on my desktop (where i play my main account)?

Still has the same HWID so they can tell. Running a VM has no benifets. I've run multiple wows on the same machine with no dramas

What is HWID? It still has the same even if they aren't the same computer?

But have you run a WoW client that you played by hand while running another WoW client with HB attached to it? as the thread/my question still remains:

Same IP Address, Payment Method, Name, HWID, WoW Install Cache.

VM isn't needed. If they want to investigate it wont save you.

Yes, I do it all the time. Although I have never been caught in a banwave, or ban in general. Only issues with this is to make sure you don't have any friends as it will show you playing 2 games at once on Battle.net.

As far as I know, Warden has only done banwaves on hacks or bots that inject into the games memory. I guess it could be possible you could get banned on both, but very unlikely since your main account you are using isn't using any hacks or cheat to inject to it.

Unless you accidentally hooked Honorbuddy to your legitimate account for a few seconds or something stupid and had to be unfortunately part of the data collection during a banwave. You would most likely get banned by transferring gold or other items from a bot account to a main account.
