2 hander for barb?

So I've been doing the WW barb for quite a while now, but since the bot isn't perfect perma WotB isn't possible I was thinking maybe it'll be faster with a good 2hander (they are also alot cheaper up to a certain point).

What do you guys think will be the faster bot?
 
well atm with the good skorn i have, I have been dealing around 140k dps, and farming act 0 quickly. but since i am close to hitting 100 paragon, decided to switch to two one handers to see how it is, and made my guy a lot tankier, looking to try to run the higher mps
 
Get Skorn = win.

I found one and wanted to try it out. It gave 40k more dps = more GPH and IPH.
 
I have a 1300 DPS Skorn with decent stats and have about 135k dps buffed on about 50m worth of gear.
 
I'm currently sitting att 100k dps unbuffed with 2 1-handers, I'm asking if my GPH/IPH will go up even more with some more dps using a 2hander?
 
wotb is harder to keep up with 2 hander due to low as resulting in less hits from ww. You will generate far less fury with skorn than you will with 2 one handers.
tldr version:

skorn = more dps less fury
two 1 handers= less dps more fury
 
Mine does have 200k dps buffed and it deals 290-370k regular crit damage hit, 600k+ crit with wotb up and around 1.2m vengeance with wotb up

492% crit damage, 47% crit chance

Get a good 500+ STR skorn with 200% crit. My barb is 260k buffed and doing close to 2 million crits with WOTB 615% CD & 55% CC.

Skorn FTW!
 
yea! my skorn does have only 300 str but 200% crit and 9% atk speed... been using this since the beggining and never really wanted to go ww... the damage is really awesome

Do you mind to link a build for use with skor or just the regular ww is ok?

I am new barb and still getting too many deaths/hours trying to firgure a build out :(

This is my 2h barb build. You can change superstition with any other passive, deppending on ur items... Never really used WW build


Frenzy + Maniac
Rend + Blood Lust
Warcry + Impunity
Battle Rage + Into the Fray
WOTB + Insanity
Revenge + Provocation
Ruthless + Weapon Master + Superstition

Spent some gold on it, but still bad...

What about stats? I mean... all STR? Min HP? Resist all? Crit chance?

smurfl thats a good build although i have a question with one rune, if your not using thrive on chaos, theres no sense in getting extra fury from 'battle rage - into the fray', maybe just use Marauders rage for higher DPS IMO

i use an almost similar build

Frenzy + Maniac
Rend + Blood Lust
Warcry + Impunity
Battle Rage + Into the Fray (or Marauders Rage using Skorn/2handed)
WOTB + Thrive on Chaos / (or insanity if Skorn/2handed)
Revenge + Provocation -This is a good option for less surviving bot but if you have enough all res (700+) / armor 6800+ / vit 45k / loh 500+ 2 1handed / replacing this with Sprint - Marathon makes you farm faster at mp 0-3 - i still use revenge if key farming on mp 4
Ruthless + Weapon Master + Superstition


Skorn is cheap so i cant argue with using it although i really preferred 2 x 1 hand, they are pricier but still a lot cheaper now
other cheap weapons (not as cheap as skorn) to consider - socketed sky splitter/sun keeper 900+dps

Armor I find great for survivability, blackthorn / chest (200vit) and pants (200+vit /loh), IK belt and boots - they are a lot cheaper now

Yea! You're right! My mistake! Go maurauders instead of into the fray


Btw heres my stats: paragon 65
not sure if can see in the image: 6xx ar
str: 2385
vit: 1058
dps: 140k up to 218k buffed

I would recommend cleave over frenzy any day. It's a little bit slower, but it does a fuckton more damage and it hits multiple enemies. I can hit 10 monsters at once for 900k damage each without WOTB, try that with frenzy :p

I need to upgrade my mains weapons badly trying to figure out if I should buy a skorn with life steal or two 1 handers. What you guys think of Bul-Kathos set weaps, was thinking about buying warrior blood with str/CD/Socket and Solemn vow with str/LOH/Atk speed/Socket.

Looking to better my Barb to do high MP runs/Ubers.
 
For me anyway, a 2H just does not do the job for over MP6, anything higher I like to use a nice stormshield and 1100 DPS 1H axe, has 88% crit and a socket for 100% more crit with radiant emerald. If you use a stormshield make sure it's got at least 30% block and 300+ STR
