2 days and still cant connect!

It's been over 48 hours now, and I still cant connect. All I get is,

Authenticating..
The HTTP connection failed! Are you sure you are connected to the internet?

any ideas?

Are you using new version? They released 1.9.6.0 & 1.9.6.1 to counter the DDos. Failing that do you have any firewall that is preventing the program from accessing the interweb.

Yes, You should download the new version of HB/GB and you would have been able to log in two days ago
