Aye, Honorbuddy works just fine with multiple copies on the same PC. The trick is you have to launch your WoWclient and be logged into your toon,
then launch Honorbuddy.
For instance, say you've got 2 WoWclients opened and your toons are ready to play. When you launch your first HB, it will prompt you to which WoWclient it should attach (identified by you logged-in toon names). Then, you launch your second HB, and it
will not prompt you because there is only one valid session of the WoWclient to which it can attach--as the other one is already 'hooked', so there is only one choice.
You're problem is that your launching the second HB prematurely. Launch the second WoWclient first, select your toon, and wait for the game world to appear,
then launch Honorbuddy.
You can have as many WoWclients & Honorbuddys open on your PC as much as the hardware will support. The trick is you always have to have an unattached WoWclient available (running + your toon waiting in the game world--it can't be at the 'character selection' screen) when you go to launch Honorbuddy.
