2 banned today

Hi guys,

I just got banned on 2 accounts today. Something very peculiar or perhaps this is just me being ignorant, here's what happened.

Both accounts were initially on seperate VM's on seperate installs of VM OS's. Now I made an experiment and Cloned the first VM for use of the 2nd account (just wanted to try it) so they would still be on different VM's only that they were cloned. The day after i did this i got banned.

So my question is did the cloning of the VM expose me to the ban hammer or is this a tin foil alert? I'm thinking yes due to similar MAC address's but im not certain.

It could, only if you didn't randomize the mac address of the cloned VM. Still "could".
Different IP? or same IP?

You had to unlock the account when you first connected to the 2nd VM?
