2 acoounts banned...

Been using this bot on 2 accounts.

Been botting 1 hour at the time. then 2-3 hours _Offline. then botting again...
botting 3-4 times a day.

dont think its the bot in generel.

when i logged online on my phone. and my son played for about 30 min because of incense..
but on the phone we loose internet for a sec often. not sure if they think its spoofing...


a few houres later i was banned...

Botting about 20 min from where i live. so not 100% sure how i was cought.

You're caught because Niantic recognises the data and requests sent to their server were from a bot. Not because of the distance from your home.

Not sure if this is actually a pattern but I see a lot of accounts that get up to level 20 and above getting the Ban Stick sometime after.
I don't think anyone knows what Niantic is looking for when it checks account logs for bots. There is obviously the usual suspects such as instant teleportation across the globe, Botting for longer than a human can possibly be awake or jog for. They might be looking at catch rates, patterns in routes, multiple catch rates outside human capability, too many "Nice" or "Excellent" throws. It could be something as simple as doing a device check and they realise the game is on Windows instead of a mobile device.

Who knows exactly. I don't know what they check or what the bot emulates to trick Niantic into thinking it's a human playing on a mobile device?

I've had 2 accounts banned permanently. You could say from my own stupidity not checking settings before logging in, mainly due to using more than one program with different GPS locations and then accidentally seeing I should of been in Australia right now instead of Japan or USA. I only use PokeFarmer now. I had NOX, Necrobot and some other I cannot remember. They all did different things. It could of been either program that got me flagged too.

Right now if I get banned, I just make another gmail account and rinse and repeat. Takes no time at all. Pain in the rear, yes, but we are cheating. If I get a few good accounts from a dozen then I'm happy. I still got 2 months on my key to go before I have to pay for a new one. I'm not complaining, and I do have a legit account for a backup plan if all else fails.
