2 accounts banned

So this afternoon while trying to logon unsuccessfully due to their shitty logon servers, both me and my girl received each our "your account is closed" email at almost the same time. We both had a farm account that we used for ores and herbs with GB2 and apparently they were both closed at the same time. I am guessing it is based on IP, so one account got the other banned. Ran on 2 seperate PC's (no dualboxing), so it had to be on IP and not on hardware ID.

No warning, no temp ban, just closed. So there we are, no more farm accounts, pretty annoying but that's life. At least this will save us a few euros a month, I'd rather buy gold when necessary now than the hassle of making new accounts and just risk another ban.

I am just gonna stick with combat routines from now on. My main account is from feb 2005, it has 12 level 90s (11+1) and I do not want to loose it. Even if the game isn't so exciting anymore, it is just too many hours spent to loose it. My main has over 150 days played, next one around 100 days and then a bit less for each one. So lot's of memories and fun there

Honestly I would just finish off whatever you need to level with HB or whatever your current goal is and then stop using it. Its way to risky nowadays I dont even want to run a combat routine with it now. I got a big ban from using PE(like PQR) and since then I just do 1 button macro self press.

Personally I would stop playing if I could not use CRs anymore. I have had problems with pains in my arm after playing some years, so the only way to play and not get that pain back is by using a CR and let it do the pressing for me. One could argue about how fun it is and how much point there is to playing if you use CRs, but for me this is a game I do for my personal fun, and given this is the only way I can play it now, it works

I also got banned with pqr but since ive botted a new char to 90 through questing and im currently doing one of the biggest rep grinds ingame at around 16 hours a day, its all about routines and decent profiles. I'm pretty confiident i wont be banned gain but we'll see, still a few weeks to go yet.

really, it HAD to be IP? tell you what, make another account and start playing normally and see if you get banned, "based on IP". what, no?

you got banned because you ran gatherbuddy to farm ores and herbs. really really simple.

Relax Starlite, I know we were banned due to using GB2 and farming, I am not stupid. My point was that we did not get a 72 hour suspension, and it is probably cause I have had one account on this same IP before first receive a 4 hour suspension, then 72 hour suspension and then a full ban. So this time, the accounts were both closed permanently right away. The reason I said "due to same IP" is that they will probably have the first ban saved, and if they see botting from same IP again, they do perma ban. Every other person I know that has gotten a ban has first gotten a suspension, not a perma ban.
