2 Accounts Banned At Same Time

2 of my farmer accounts were perma banned last night for 3rd party suspicion or bot use. I had them on an Hbrelog schedule which would make them take 1-3 hr breaks and even incorporated an 8 hour log off for sleep time at night on both of them. They would farm for 10-12 hours per day with random profiles in random parts of MOP (randombuddy), I had glitchy mobs blacklisted and Avoidplayers kept me away from other players pretty well along with LogmeOut if I were to get stuck.

These accounts were not involved in gold selling and they would deposit herbs in the guild bank after X amount of minutes so that I could shuffle them on another toon, so no auctions or mailing daily.

Oddly enough, my level 1 auctionbot who sits at the auction house for 20 hours a day and uses Pimpmyguild+SGI hasn't been banned yet 0.o

Not sure what caused me to get banned, but I'm appealing right now. I can only hypothesize that it is because of farming for too long even with breaks and sleep time incorporated. I plan to decrease my farming time from 10-12 hours to 8-10 hours per day.

I don't know why people STILL believe that ANYTHING can protect them while using gatherbuddy. random profiles, private profiles, complex logout schedules, changing zones often, doing dungeons and lfrs, chatting in guild, observing 100% of the time, not using the AH... IT DOESNT MATTER. you will get banned. the devs deny this but why woudlnt they, they have a product to sell.

the only way i found to keep a GB2 bot going is to cap it to like 2 hours per day. even that's a risk.

very VERY few human players gather herbs and ore for 4+ hours per day 7 days a week for a whole month. it's very easy for blizz to tag every single account that does that much gathering. and then they have a method to reliably ID the bots from the humans from the logs... nothing you do with randomizing the waypoints or answering whispers or anything else affects that.

this is separate from all the OTHER ways to get banned the biggest being of course other players right-clicking on you and sending a report.

My post is to increase awareness to botters with the same or similar setup as mine, not to find what's going to "protect me from being banned." While I know that getting banned WILL happen eventually and that my experience is a mutually exclusive event from fellow botters, my goal was/is to delay the inevitable for as long as possible; to find a niche that allows me to gain maximum amount of profit while delaying the ban. I am not upset that I was banned as I knew it would eventually come. It is a learning experience that tells me that the way I am botting right now isn't effective anymore and I need to change it.

It seems you just troll here, without proving anything above, and simply spreading speculations enough!

As we speak, Im running "enough" GB2 bots, on hbrelog schedule, without random profiles (Im still using two mega gatherit profiles since year and half ) but with LFR involved, and gathering for 3-5 hours daily, and guess what?

Most of the bots are close to 18months old, they were used 99% for gathering, beside the random activites like LFR, and had 1x or 2x temp or overtuned/ perma suspensions on their record for that timeframe (12-18months)

Hmm thank you for sharing, I may just create more bots to do shorter gathering time intervals such as you have done, and/or even have hbrelog change their scripts to do some bgs or lfr for increased variation ^^

Is it possible that using Logmeout and HBRelog together could be a bad idea? I havent tried because I use sharp messenger, but it seems that if someone is harassing your bot youre going to get locked into a loop between DCing and logging back in which would essentially make it look like youre logging in and out constantly, which I would think would be a big red flag.

This is pure conjecture.

People think that it's all algorithms that determine who's botting and who's not.
Blizzard GM's have the ability to spectate players, if someone spectates your bot even a dummy will say that it's a bot and not a real player, HB just doesnt move as real players do, and it's very obvious.
