2 accounts 72-hour ban - Appeal or let it pass?? PQR Possible Suspect??

The bans are only temporary 72-hour bans for both. My only question now, is should I even bother appealing or just let the 72 hours pass? Also, I was using PQR for some period of time - Anyone think that could be the culprit here? First time ban, very casual user of HB and GB, never sold gold, havent made a ton of gold in the whole process either - What you all think>?

Don't appeal a 72 hour suspension, it might get worse than that. Consider yourself lucky and let it go

That's where my thinking was at... thanks for the straight response, what are your thoughts on PQR usage though? I see a lot of people with 72 hr bans mentioning use in some form or another. It also seems odd to me that we'd assume blizz could detect some signature of HB/GB but not pick up anything from PQR..

I think the issue has largely been pushed aside for a while now, wondering if anyone else is headed down that same like of thought. PQR is also a set series of actions and reactions, just totally user controlled.. But even something as simple as using Shift/Alt/COntrol etc.. to change the actions of the bot (ie switching from single to AOE mode in a roation) is detectable to some degree.

No thoughts, could be anything. Doubt it's PQR at all. Tons of bans for HB and almost none were using PQR

Lil' update - Have not used HB since, have used PQR in world, BG'a, RBG's, Arena, LFR, Flex and Dungeons on multiple toons accross multiple accounts - No suspension, no email, no bans, nothing. Good news for PQR, and HB for that matter - seems that if they can't detect PQR, they MAY not be able to detect HB..

But again, I wonder, if maybe because HB is so widely popular, so well knnown and used for so long by such a large sample of playrers, are they maybe looking for unique strings/signatures that the bot may have, or unique behaviors (such as the way it approaches a ladning spot, the delay between attack-and-response or gather-and-mount etc) that, froma technical standpoint, can be detected to some varying degree with little to no intrusion from the wow client?

Hate to rez a dead thread, but I've kept quiet, read a LOT of posts, back-and-forths, defensive AND offensive repsonses, and heard little to nothing from teh creators of HB or WoW.. yet people are ibickering back and forth, some with what I can only assume is limited experience with prgramming, some (but significantly less) witha damn fair amount.. I'm interested to see the final verdict here. hope we're ok
