50%+ I have had alot of problems with dc's, crashes, and training herb/mine on 3 accounts.

On 2 accounts 0, on another account 100+ but nothing too excessive

No
9)Was your account involved in gold selling?
My accounts were not, I did sell gold on another PC for a friend once. My 3 accounts have NEVER even opened a trade window.

I was watching the accounts when the ban happen. 1 GB account was on the way to train herb and head to Hyjal and got kicked offline/banned. About 30 seconds after that my other GB account (Jade Forest Herb/Mine) got kicked offline/banned, when I saw that I instantly closed my other account that was in BG's. It has been 1 1/2hr and still no email to the BG account saying it is banned. I haven't tried to log back in it yet though.

I'm appealing them in hopes to recover them. Sucks because they have never traded with anyone or each other. Only one account had even used the AH.

Blizz have implemented "herbs or mining nodes per hour" counter server side some time ago, to deal with botting. And from what I have read - they can trigger automated ban in some scenario, especially, if you run 1-525 profiles for both mining/herbalism with 310% mount speed character.

I'm all for theories..I really do think they're valuable to a constructive critical community..

curious though have you got anything tangible to support the notion or just what I've heard & people have suggested from their own bans..

You can bash him as much as you want, but threes something in it. I also got 3 bans recently for abuse of economy, all of them were for 1-525 mining and herb with PB (never had that problem since the day these profiles were available, and my amount of bottling time haven't changed either).

it idd looked like automated ban, it was easy to apply too (they asked for documents tho).

Ban was either caused by number of nodes farmed or number of auctions created, but yeah it seems they lowered the limits for auto ban / looking into account (other option could be that PB builted in AH bot is detected) but my other accounts are still fine (I've lowered time online / nodes farmed per day and on auctions ).

Theres no point telling shit like "I HAZ 4512412 bots running me iz best botter EVAH" etc, but I got enough experience to tell the difference between random ban and this.

There might be some other possibilities too but this is what comes to my mind first. PB is not up in official release yet if I'm not mistaken, but when it gets up we might see much more reports like this...

I have to agree with you on this but if you could site where this came from that would be great. I was recently banned on an account that went from 1-400 mining and herbalism in two days and I am wondering if it was due to player reports or something automatic.

This makes more sense and seems more realistic than people reporting botters. The reason why I say this is, if your bot is not ninja'ing nodes from other players, they have no reason to ban you. Out of sight out of mind. Now if by chance, your bot gets to a node that's really close to another where another player is at and he sees you, you have a 30% chance he will follow you to confirm whether you're a bot or not and report you. Most of the time, players don't give two shits as there are TONS MoP nodes out there that pretty much does away with competition. And the respawn rate is rediculously high.

I've had one character/account get banned after receiving a series of email notices from Blizzard that the account got suspended for reasons not even related to "abuse of economy"...and I received at least three before actually getting perma banned. Probably my fault for appealing the suspensions, which I'm positive led Bliz to do a full investigation on the account. Now, my question is...why not just perma ban on the first offense? Why the emails with weird reasons that have nothing to do with botting? That's because they don't actually know you got banned due to their auto ban system. They don't know until you appeal the suspension, that is, and have brought it to their attention where a full account investigation will take place.

I would at least wait out the 72 hours before thinking about appealing the suspension.

I think its other botters mate there is that many bots now the AH prices are shocking 25g for a stack of herbs 30g for a stack of ore and there is alot of us that dont even use AH i vendor most things.
