Your account was permanently suspended due to use of third party programs, which is against the Terms of Use (Blizzard Entertainment: Battle.net Terms of Use), the relevant part of which can be found in this article :

Battle.net Support

When running, the World of Warcraft client may monitor your computer's random access memory (ram) and/or cpu processes for unauthorized third party programs running concurrently with World of Warcraft. An unauthorized third party program as used herein shall be defined as any third party software, including without limitation any addon or mod, that in Blizzard Entertainment's sole determination.

what they do and what they are allowed to do ... are two different things, and if they do that than there will be much more bans ;)

No bro, its not that black and white.

Its not that they ALWAYS check you.

But if they think you are botting, i do believe, the first step to see if you are is looking at you as described in the above.

They cant do so if your offline, so then they check your logs.

And if people feel this is a privacy breach, you did agree to let em do so when you started this game.

So dont give me that crap that they cant , will and wont, are and are not allowed to.

Its perfectly legal :)

I even linked to the page where i copied that section out of and still people think its illegal for em to do so.

https://eu.battle.net/account/legal/anticheating.html

PHP:
(i) the Random Access Memory ("RAM") that is occupied by the World of Warcraft program
	to confirm that the World of Warcraft program has not been altered or "hacked" in violation of the World of  Warcraft Terms of Use;

(ii) the World of Warcraft 'process' to determine if any unauthorized third party programs or
computer code has been attached to the World of Warcraft process; and

(iii) the Windows Process List to determine if any confirmed hacking or cheating programs are
presently open in violation of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use.

Get a ... grip :)

Lets get this clear once and for all, you agreed to this, when you started to play this game, so they can do whatever is in that agreement, and
this is inthere.

If they want to check you, they can and will, and theres nothing you can do against it.

ediT : :):):):):):):):) so, no... imnotmadbro... just annoyed people can be so naive.

Ontopic, i think you got very unlucky. Someone prolly reported you. Sorry for your loss.

DO APPEAL - prolly will be turned into 72 hours.

U stated it ... the RAM occupied by world of warcraft, so they don't have to look at all the other processes running
and this is total different to what they wrote in the email, and they don't have permission to do that
When running, the World of Warcraft client may monitor your computer's random access memory (ram) and/or cpu processes for unauthorized third party programs
but hey ... it is said multiple time not you and not me know anything bout what their warden is doin, we can speculate bout that and we can "think" and "mean" but we don't know

so don't try to present your opinion as a fact.

english might not be my 1st language, but this:

PHP:
When running, the World of Warcraft client may monitor your computer's random access memory (ram)
and/or cpu processes for unauthorized third party programs running concurrently with World of Warcraft

and this:

PHP:
-the Random Access Memory ("RAM") that is occupied by the World of Warcraft program
        to confirm that the World of Warcraft program has not been altered or "hacked" in violation of the World of  Warcraft Terms of Use;

        - the World of Warcraft 'process' to determine if any unauthorized third party programs or
computer code has been attached to the World of Warcraft process; and

       - the Windows Process List to determine if any confirmed hacking or cheating programs are
presently open in violation of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use.

are the same. when it comes to legal things, since the agreement is, im sure the area is wider then the square box you look through.

Funny how no one wants to accept the fact that this could be very well possible. Untill someone shows me something that proves they can not

do this, or his is higly illegal. i stick to this.

For those that say, well why dont they look at everyone then and ban em all. You realy think hb cant be detected if a multi million dollar company
realy wanted to... lmao then.. sorry.

I love HB, without it i wont play wow no more. So i hope it stays strong for years. Stop denying the above tbh, just cause its not 1 on 1 written for
you to read in some blue post.

They can ban you for anything they like, and there's nothing you can do about it. You do own your account but as with common law in the majority of countries in the world, a seller does not HAVE TO sell you his services it is there prerogative. If they decided to close your server tomorrow then there would not be anything you can do about it, you pay a sub to lease the use of all the servers only. If you afked in stormwind, and a GM whispered you, and you didn't answer, then they could ban you if they wanted. You'd cry, they'd laugh, and the world would continue to turn.

People always come out with what Blizzard can and cannot do and it is all waffle, Blizzard own all the servers and they are entitled to prevent any person from using them for whatever reason they might see fit. If they deleted your server and all the characters on it, then you cannot even sue them for the money you paid then each month as you pay to have access to all of the servers, not any single one in exclusivity.

Botters get banned, it is a fact. Warden is irrelevant .I keep saying this, they do not even need a reason.

Sorry for your loss, it's gutting when it happens, but we all know the risks, and we accept them.

On a side note, if you are botting 12-20 hours a day and supervising it 90% of the time, one begs the question why you aren't playing it if you are spending 11-18 hours a day watching the bot anyway.
