1st Ever Ban - Permanent - How I got it reversed

my ban was triggered by tracking software and not a player report. I called them and spoke to a rep.. Obviously played stupid. I told them I just installed a new addon. She put me on hold came back and called it a 1 time warning and restored my account.

Recently I've been running a lot of Gatherbuddy, but it has been supervised....

I always bot pretty responsibly 6-8 hours at max if node hopping. I run a plugin to sound an alarm for whispers so I answer. I may have just been unlucky.

ah well silver lining is I got a slap on the wrists and got my account back immediately..

Tip: Call them don't submit a ticket.. Play stupid and not arrogant.

How did you call them? I am Australian so I am calling the Australian line, and it just says 'Blizzard has an automated system', and it wont connect to someone...

and yeah, many people have been banned today. Cheers for the tips, exactly what I am going to do.
