I only just resubbed on Friday, spent a fair chunk Saturday and Sunday farming cata and old school herbs to level alchemy on an alt. Nothing excessive though.
However on Sunday I spent maybe 1 or 2 hours on a level 88 pally grinding using Kota peaks v1.1 - xsilverdicex.xml. After that I jumped back on my farmer and filled his bags with GIO using [GB2][N]Ducks Double-Zone 2.4.xml a profile I have used quite a bit now.
I logged on this morning and smelted all the ore, then logged off. I was banned 5 or 6 hours after I logged off.
3)What profile were you using?:
[GB2][N]Ducks Double-Zone 2.4.xml- for mining GIO
Kota peaks v1.1 - xsilverdicex.xml for maybe an hour or 2
4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname:
Default Balance Druid
Default Ret Pally
5)What plugins are you using?:
None/standard
6)How many hours per day did you bot for?:
Maybe 4-8? It varied, and I didn't play all last week as the PS in my computer blew up last weekend
6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?
50%, sometimes more, sometimes less. I didn't supervise at all during the last mining session, but I was watching it every few minutes when it was grinding and when it was farming the cata/old school herbs
7)How many auctions per day did you have?:
0, everything went into the gbank or was sent to various alts for processing
8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods?
No
9)Was your account involved in gold selling?
No
10)EU or US realm?
US
11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account?
Full paid account, around 6 months old (although I took a 3 month break from WoW at the end of last year)
I've put in a ticket saying I was farming for a friend so maybe I tripped a system off, if it works it works, if not I have another account ready to go.
TL;DR: My throwaway bot account got banned, I only farmed ore and herbs on it irregularly for my own personal use, got banned when I was offline for at least 5 hours for 'exploitative activity'.
Edit: I forgot to add, been using Kick's quest profiles to level toons on 2 other accounts flat out since Friday, no bans on those yet even though I saw the bot doing some stupid shit in some spots like Borean Tundra and Nagrand!
