1st 72hr after 6+ months botting

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 10% (overnight, offline during day)

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: avg 10

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? Only this bot.

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? Never.

10)EU or US realm? US




I haven't used this account for more than checking/reselling my huge supply of glyphs I've ammassed by buying out the competition and reselling higher. I hadn't botted on this account for about 7 days at time of ban (8/8/12 8:30AM EST) I was not online on THIS account during the ban, but I was botting on my main account (no comments, I know the risk) using ArchBuddy and was still online and unntouched 4 hours after I recieved the ban (at time I got email)

I was sited for "Unauthorized Third Party Program". Is there a different Offense if you are truly caught botting? Or is this it?

just bad luck wel be happy its only 72hours most of time its a 72 hours just keep going on it wil go over never stop it!.

Someone probably reported you then it took them a week to look at the ticket.

I'm guessing they look at the patterns you performed and how many nodes/hr you loot ect ect. After checking all that they assume with there "evidence" that you were botting.

They didn't actually detect it HB, that's why it's not permanent.

So I guess I should set for lower botting run times? Maybe 4 hours here, 2 hour break, 2 hours here.....something like that?

but yeah that it probably safer, I wouldn't grind farm in the same area anymore than 3-4 hours imo. But yeah having breaks is a good idea.

Think about it? how many players can maintain such a high and consistent kills/hr or loots/hr over such long periods of time. They can't, its pretty much impossible with distractions and out of pure boredom.

I don't even think chinese famers can maintain that type of consistency as a bot, Even they take breaks.

But regardless once someone reports you and if a GM actually looks over you.... you're pretty much done.
