#166554 Pokefarmer FREEZE

Posted a few days ago and was hoping the new update will resolve the issue, but it has not.

I start to experience with Pokefarmer. The bot/program will just freeze up. (I can wait for more than 30 min and it STILL freeze on the spot) Sometime it is in the middle of Looting a Pokestop/Catching Pokemon or just walking towards something, then it just freeze. Nothing will happen and when I press STOP button the program still have no response.

I will do an End Task, then go to Buddy Auth Portal and Kill Session. Then restart again only have it freeze up after a few task (Looting/Catching).

I have uninstall and reinstall COMPLETELY and I thought the update will help but it did not.

Can you help please?

Hi there! I am having the same problem and I read your log and seems that you are trying to bot in Hong Kong
Do you live in Hong Kong? Which ISP do you use? I am trying to figure out why this is happening and I am suspecting it has something to do with the connection.

Yes I do live in Hong Kong.

But the problem is I been using Poke farmer for a long time and this issue only pop up right around 2/14 (before any updates). It is sudden and without any reason.
 
I try restarting my router and modem but I keep getting IP starting with 112.119.*.*
How about you?
 
I used to be able to get a IP from different range when I restart my modem.
Anyway, we need more Netvigator users to help to pin point if it is the ISP problem.
 
Just a heads up, I got my PF to work normally by connecting to a VPN (look it up on google)
Our internet connection IS the problem.

I try using VPN software/Service (TunnelBear) I can go to internet just fine BUT Pokefarmer do not work until I disconnect the VPN service.

Can you tell me how you set up your VPN?
 
I use zenvpn, it's working so I haven't tried others

Then the big question is.... what had happened and is this situation only temperately? I don't believe navigator suddenly change their setting.
 
I hope it is temperory, I am trying to get the devs to look into it but I think it will be difficult since I don't think they can reproduce the problem on their side.
 
No, I just tested without VPN and right after it started it froze on walking to a pokemon.
As I said in the other post, probably need a debug build to know where the connection goes wrong.
 
If you don't use the VPN it works fine right?
No it does NOT.

As SleepyPrince said, It stop working right after we turn off VPN.

** ALSO, I find out that some virtual location, ie. Netherland, or Hong Kong, Pokefarmer will stop working as well.

Guys, I get you are frusterated, but lets work together, as far as login region, which one are you using? Best latency or the one based on your geographical location?

Plus have you tried a fresh download and reinstall over top of the old installation yet?
