Last night at around 9PM. Got drunk as fuck, checked my email, and realized all the accounts were done. I only made a small sale on my main account, to test the integrity of a certain gold buying company.

Up to the point of ban, purely dungeonbuddy / kicks for intermittent questing.

Don't really remember. It was pretty chaotic, just turned them off for a few hours every day when I got tired of monitoring them.

Only real auctions, about 5, but I'm confident this had nothing to do with the ban.

Not sure if Arelog counts as a mod, but Arelog.

Strangely, only my main account. The 11 botting accounts never sold a single copper, but were still banned for abuse of economy.

Not quite true!

Its their damnation for goldsellers! One of the hardest bans to fight :/ And they are usually completed with semi or full IP/PC ban, and no, its not related to the MAC address at all, mate

Any advice on how to avoid this my second go around? Plan on spending 25 bucks on 5 cata accounts and botting gold with these.

The best solution I've can think of is to just farm gold for about to 10 days and liquidate everything, basically planning to lose the accounts. I will probably try this. Even if the 5 accounts get banned, it was a 25 dollar test that I won't have any hard feelings about.

Will I need to use a *** / ***** for this? I'm pretty sure I can reset my IP by disconnecting and reconnecting my router. Will this be enough?

There are several tactics to avoid the Abuse of Economy ban, but the best one, I have found - use tested golddealers!!!

And I meant - I have sold gold to my goldbuyers hundreds of times since the last Abuse of Ecomony on my side - somewhere in 2011 it was

Have sold from my main, from my GB2 botters, or other shuffling accounts, from all variety of accounts, but never sold from empty 5$ account so far, never. Maybe that plays the role too!

Usually Im using one of my GB2 botters for this - simply log it, ginvite and promote the buyer, so he could took as much as he request from the guildbank (Or give him the guildleadership if more gold is needed)

Thats the another point for using trusted dealers, you can just invite him, and he will take the requested, not drying your guildbank, as some chinese do :/
