IDK how much i could run with that, but sound like i got a pile of sh$t compared to everyone else.

q6600 is actually a pretty awful CPU compared to current gen quad-cores.

Although i would class myself as a "Noob" this post i have found very good, i know from my experience building my own lowly spec PCs that a good PSU is a must, although i do not take it to the max i always tend to go for a low cost / but not a bargain basement PSU. I always try to get a barebones System secondhand or new supplied with motherboard manual.

I was quite amazed a few months ago when i did a search on ebay for PSUs.

I have had many problems stemming from faulty PSUs either from a computer i have been given to mess about with for my own fun, or when i have brought a second hand ATX case with plans to sell my old motherboard inside this case.

Computer In. I am currently running 15 and at about 60% cpu usage. Been running solid for over 5 days now. My PSU is 700W so I can expand my Graphics card later if needed without having to buy a new PSU.

I can tell you this:

One one of the important things is the ram. If you want to run 12 wows + gb you need 4GB. Windows tell me that the usage of the ram is almost 100%.
Another importan thing is your graphic card.
I have a Geforce GTX 260 with 896MB. The amount of video ram is important but more important is the speed of the ram. DDR2 is ok but DDR3 is better
do not spend too much on the CPU. It is better to buy a really good video card.

I can load like 20 windows without running out of ram. I plan to upgrade my ram to 12GB but im waiting for this new top speed DDR3 ram before I do. Once it's out I am also upgrading to water cooling. I can easily hit 4.5GHZ on water .
