sorry for my bad english ..

Today i was watching at my BOT on Towers.. and he start to attack INVISIBLE TARGET for few second..
and then PUF ! ! ! the invisible target Droped GOLD ! ! !

I think that blizz now easy can flag bots , only bots are attacking ivisible targets ... not normal palyers

i think that "thing" got a lot of HP so normal AOE attack cant destroy it my monk 100k dps spend a lot of time to destroy it

i saw on forum that not only me that happened

Think - how blizz banned so meny account ??? that got sense , blizz got now idea how to flags as all

It would be an interesting approach to flag botters (and similar to other suggestions such as hidden mobs or items placed under the map that a normal player wouldn't see) but that doesn't sound like the most solid and legit way for them to flag people.

Unless the mob spawns when no other monsters are near then blizz couldn't be sure that this invisible mob wasn't killed by one of the many AOE abilities that all classes use, I mean a WW Barb could easily kill a mob that like without noticing and that could end up flagging a legit player.

I'm not ruling it out, but I wouldn't say it's a 100% bot flagging unless this mob spawns in a way or location that a normal player wouldn't go to (ie. spawning behind the player after they've just cleared a massive area, or in the corner of an empty room in the keeps or something along those lines)

But hey who knows, there's plenty of ways to differentiate between a human who's playing the game based off what the game allows them to see, and a bot who's playing the game going off of what it's programmed to detect and attack......<shrug>

its works perfect on TOWERS becose here bot cant miss any hidden target...
U will see on next ban WAVE we all will be banned

So with this invisible mob, did you Follower attack it as well? Or just your Monk?

So this invisible mob went from being there for "a few seconds" to then having enough HP that your 100k dps monk took alot of time to kill and during all of that you were so fixated and amazed you didn't even notice whether or not your follower did a single thing.....

Well i'm sold, looks like the botting life is over for me.

believe me or not , we all will soon know , if botting is over

i agree they are using "underground" or "invisable" targets to detect botters. in similar scenario i stopped the bot and just walked around a bit observing; then a worm popped out of the ground, but it was not visable before and dbuddy was trying to attack it.

you are 100% right mate :) should be why ... but what do u think about a whole problem

You guys realize that there are monsters in the game that spawn from beneath the ground, right? I think that's what most of you are seeing. The bot sees it and starts to attack it immediately when it's going to come above ground...no big deal; you're just killing a monster.

these mobs are only in act 2, no mob in act 3 where he found that problem comes from the underground.

and this issue was reported multiple times by now, so this can be the way or at least one way how blizz detects us at the moment.

Actually, there are mobs coming from underground in act 3.

its called lag.

and well in act 3 mobs comes from the heaven, they are "invisible" before they land too, but attackable - by normal players too.

Have seen this too.

It looks like blizzard has created some invisible and untargettable (by normal means) mob with a similar ID/NAME of other existing mobs. There is a way to differentiate between aoe kills and specific targeting kills I suppose. D3 botting is likely over unless DB has a way to differentiate between monsters like this.

This can easily be addressed and I'd like a dev to confirm..... attack(monster.id) , loot(item.id) , attack(destructible.id) all need to be click(x,y). Under no circumstance should a bot ever send packets or provoke functions that target a mob or item directly. To emulate human behavior you need to click the screen.

This might be fixable through your combat routine rather than DB core.
