100% bonus xp starting at midnight PST

Goes on until Monday Dec 29. Might wanna prime yourself to run your bots 24/7 lol.
 
currently running t6 rifts with pony'sader@ 8b (average) exp per hour :)

tried the usual of ghom etc... but rifts seems far better exp

my DH is 10 billion pr hour but doing Malthael now much be close to 15 billion pr hour...

Dunno how you guys are getting 15bil/hr seems a bit redic personally. I am averaging around 7.5m on a raekors FC barb and only about 7m tops on my best geared DH, The Raekors barb is entirely map dependent and can spike upwards of 9-10mil if its a very dense map with nonstop charging where the bot will charge its way to 100% almost nonstop within 2-3 minutes or less. I just switched back to my DH and swapped in some tactical advantage, got rid of kite distance so it doesn't waste a vault if a mob gets within 10 yards. T6 rifts are the most exp I have found botting anywhere so far. Either way since buff was added I have gained roughly 2 levels or just a tad more I am un sure what time it went in exactly I wasn't looking. But 1 level = 23bil exp for me. This exp boost is great, But at the same time I am kind of annoyed i wasted a month botting seasons and on PTR with the combined seasonal exp its worth just about 6 levels in the upper 800 range although the math at first glance does seem right had I been botting 24/7 I would have only lost a slight bit due to my seasonal chars not being as geared up or higher paragon.

I do Malthael in adventure mode with very little backtracking, so in effect usually a smooth run and can only average about 9.5 bil/hr. Do you get a better yield doing the Malthael runs in questing mode? Maybe I should try with DH instead of WD.

I will test it with my DH on T6.

Ask Angband :-) Im using the profil in the profil picture but I need to babysit it every now and then. Angband have been running mathael boss non-stop for 4-5 months in a row now (hope blizz dont check his profil to see his mathael kill number) and if he did play 24/7 he is at 6-7 billion exp pr hour (up to 15 billion with exp boost) I dont believe that he is with babysitting his bot 24/7 so he must have a working profil, maybe he will share it with us? (dont think so because he dont want anyone to gain on his paragon level)

I can't see how killing mathael give such huge exp tbh, given that the reward is only 19m exp, ghom give more than that yet running ghom for an hour only nets 3bil xp o.O
 
because the boss kill gives the exp...the 19m is only the questreward...Arotished ye share it with me :D

Something I think is always overlooked :)

I advocate gearing up a Templar follower by the following:

as you are running UNITY then forget about any vitality on any follower items, reroll any vit into something useful preferably aspd or chc (this is because max CHD is 150% for follower)

Aim for:
max CHD on relic (that will get you near to the 150% chd cap)
max chc/aspd on rings/amulets
+10%dmg,7%Aspd & socket in weapon (preferably doombringer for the +%phys dmg)
10%chc & socket for shield
put max ruby gem in weapon & Shield

With this setup your templar will be at least 600k dps which helps you burn through rifts faster too (my current templar follower is 732k dps with my crusader)

this is a big free damage boost which people seem to overlook
