1 Session and 3 Session Bots?

So I posted a few days ago, saying I'll be buying the bot, what's the difference between 1 session and 3 session?

1 session you can bot 1 WoW at a time
3 sessions you can bot 3 WoW the same time

So how is there people that have like 8 bots going at once, and with the 3 session bot, is that 3 characaters, or do you have to have 3 accs >.>
