1-80 RAF in Icecrown - Malykriss [100% AFK]

I put together a very quick grind bot in Icecrown which should only be used for RAFing since the mobs doesn't really drop much cloth and greens.

I found Corp'Rethar being full all the time wether it was other bots or regular people farming for cloth and greens.

For this profile I use a level 85 DK with locked exp and a hunter that I'm currently leveling with this profile.
The DK has 372 iLvL (mop vendor greens) and the hunter is completely naked, it has no heirlooms, guild banner or exp pot to increase the exp gained.

It's 100% AFKable, but I haven't added vendor and mail simply because I don't need it. You can add vendor and mail if you find it necessary and re-post the profile. Important notice: It's fully doable with 1 HB key, but I recommend a 2nd key for your AFK character. I use a 2nd HB key to check my exp/h and run "RareKiller2" because it has anti-afk option



I've ran this profile for 12 hours now and my hunter leveled from level 9 to 56.
It's been pretty much 4 levels per hour +/- for me.

Edit: At 60+ its ~1mill exp/h
Edit: Mage took me ~28 hours /played no looms.

I tried this profile but some chinese botter already had this place .
cross-realm zone ruined botter-heaven forever

Sorry to hear that, hopefully he will be done soon! I don't see why someone would use this place for other than leveling though as it drops little to no greens here.
 
Does the other character need to be level locked at 85? will this not work with a level 90 farming the mob?

It should work fine on a level 90 as the MaxLevel is set to 91.

I am just learning to make profiles myself, so I found this helpful as a template as this is exactly what I was trying to make. Unfortunately there's a 90 ally camping this spot atm, but hopefully I can try it when he leaves :)
 
Maybe a stupid question, has Blizzard changed the way you get the XP-Boost with RAF ? Havn't used it since a long time, but I think the char from the linked account had to be in the same lvlrange to the other char, which was AFK ( max. of 5 Levels difference ) in order to benefit from the XP-Boost.
 
The way it works is that at level 85 you still get exp for the kills. If you are 86 or above I think the exp you gain goes down tremendously.
The way RAF works with this is that if you are not 5 levels in difference with the other person, only the recruited person gets the 3x exp bonus.

I just finished up my hunter and it took about 22 hours of botting on that spot, and that's without any extra exp bonuses from looms or other stuff.
 
Well I've ran it for 18 hours straight and when I came back I had yellow gear, but you shouldn't be botting as recklessly as 20hrs+ so you'd go repair your gear when you're done tbh. As I wrote in the original post, you can add vendors and repair if you like, but I don't need it personally.
 
ok its starting to slowly turn into cathedral ... just got another botter threatening to report me there ... gotta love botters these days

It doesn't seem to work however many times I try to re-upload it or re-attach it. I think it's a problem with the website
