I don't understand what penalty is being upheld when I am not responsible for the violations against the Terms of Service. I entirely understand that my account could have been used in violation of these terms of service. However, what the customer service is failing to understand is that I had not violated these terms personally. I am reporting an account compromise and I am being treated like a criminal.
I am bewildered by this.
From what I understand if my account has been hacked it is my right as a consumer to be protected against such devious people.
I will quote an often used resolution to a problem such as mine:
"We will remove any restrictions on this account that were placed as a result of someone else?s actions, such as from violations of the Terms of Use."
Furthermore, I should be entitled to a reset for any harm done to my account while I was being TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!
I don't understand what your colleagues are not getting. I am a victim not a perpetrator.
BTW: I received ban while using Radonic's [A-1 Inferno] Champion-Hunting
I also think it is funny that a World of Warcraft representative replied to my Diablo III ticket and even sent me the link to the WoW ToS. I hope they see this post too and be like "aha knew we were right"
