0 CP and 0 IV after pokémon caught in the second attempt

After a pokémon escaped the bot tries a second time to catch it.
Now I noticed if an escaped pokémon is caught it shows up with 0 CP and 0 IV points.
Is this just a bug/fault in the text output and is the pokémon caught or not?

Same thing is happening to me. I have it set on cp based for pokeballs, and ultra balls is set to "0" and it still used my ultra balls.
