I use Win7 ultimate 64bit "lite by nil" (before i used an other Win7 version (32bit) without troubles but the same GPU driver) this stupid Win7 version (combined with win7 loader by daz) leads to update errors. it cannot upgrade to SP 2, which is maybe the reason why my GPU got troubles.
