Patch 4.1a just went live, is BW usable or have to wait?

According to the SWTOR Twitter, all servers are up. I am still experiencing slow download for the patch :/ Anyone else finished their download?

Question here. Will the bot be usable straight after the new patch hits or will it be like the other buddy bots where there will be downtime and only usable after the bots update? Also the current ban waves are only hitting the grindy bots right? Not those that only use for combat...
