Oh, no question there was a banwave. My second comment was to point out how I got swept up in it. There's more to it than just botting 24/7. Either they're detecting the combat routine (TPing on the same spot on the map each time?) or detecting the client.

So, while I totally get how people who botted 24/7 got banned, my activity level was extremely low. They've got other ways of identifying it.
