WEird, for me it's only act 1... Act 2/3 work fine, and Act 1 runs if I load it from either Act 2/3 screens, but once complete and leaves and is once again at the A1 screen, it quits running... WEEIRD!

Don't worry about gold income, legendaries are what you need now... even 1m/hr is only $0.03... That's $0.72 a day even if you managed 1mil and hour.... However legendaries can sell for millions, even billions... so IPH/LPH are what you need now. :) Also depends on your class.
