Banned 1/10 on EU. Others still fine (even after DB Patch). The banned account was not on RMAH and did no other things than those others. So if it was about security probs with DB, those others would have been hit also. Well it is just bad luck and obviously the account has been flagged already...

you wouldn?t get 288 to work after the new blizzard patch. For that you?d have to ask blizz to roll back their actual patch ^^ There were no real changes to 289 and some small bugs were hotfixed with todays 290

keep calm. DB was running rock stable for quite a time now. DB Team even had an updated version of DB @ Midnight short after Blizzards patch. Team is fast and they will solve that problem soon.

Same problem here. Updated to 289 in the morning, no problem. The one that crashed a few hours ago is not able to start again. Crashes as soon as it shows the update msg.

NO need for BETA, just update to the newest 289 build. It is saying "dont update if you are EU" but since it was put on at midnight EU had still D3 unpatched. Thats why the "update warning" was put in. Now the new patch is online and 289 works like a charm. At least for me ;) (Btw. YAR is not...
