well according to 'our' forums, it's always been the case but by the looks of the official d3 forums, it's happening to more players than ever. I lost 6 items tonight and got two auction errors already this evening already.

d3 forums have many topics about listed auctions vanishing, as well as bids and BINs. Dont list anything too expensive until this is fixed.
