    This isn't a bug report, because every single one of us experiences this issue. My question is... Do we know what's causing the bot to lose connection to the Buddy servers so frequently? Why can't the reconnect be 5s instead of 30s so the bot can actually be used?

    Unfortunately no. Post a suggestion in the requests forum and mention you think there should be more speed settings.

    It's not an error on our part. I run this on an enterprise network and get the same error about losing connection to the Buddy servers.

    Now it just consistently freezes just seconds after starting it. The log file doesn't show anything either. It'll just randomly freeze the same way it does when it loses connection to the Buddy servers.

If this happens again I'll let you guys know, but in the log it just looks like it was functioning normally and no the Pokestop that crashed it wasn't the first one it tried to...

    Apparently they had updated their API and PF was not using the most current and up to date version so it was triggering soft bans.

    Do me a favor and read the "problem" message about 50 more times. I don't get how "restart my router" is the conclusion people are coming to after reading that Pokemon GO received an update.

    I stopped botting after this post knowing something was up. I don't think my account is in jeopardy because I listened to the signs that something wasn't right, but perhaps something as big as soft bans and CAPTCHA could be looked into a little quicker next time so there isn't a two or three day...

    Come on people. Why would the router be the issue? Use some common sense here, it literally tells you what the issue is.

    I don't understand why you restarted your router. It literally says what the problem is right there.

    Yes that's what confused me too because softbans (I've never experienced one) prevent you from doing anything at all in game but only Pokemon can't be caught, so I'm not sure what it is I guess it's a Pokemon catching ban.

    Yes, you've been softbanned because Niantic has a way of detecting PF now. I'm not sure how softbans work entirely but just wait an hour or two and you should be alright to catch Pokemon again.
