I had the exact same problem, was running rift all day while I slept, but when I woke up I found out that he have been running between 2 waypoints in town, trying to salvage something. For more than 6 hours!! I think I better lay low on botting, ye?

Try to use it when the bot asks for it and wait 2 hours. Worked for me. Be patient.

Demonbuddy does that automatically now,

Run Diablo in Windowed (Full screen) mode and click tile.

Did some testing, if you run multiple region instances it fails. Let's say I run EU first and then a US account(*), it bots and all is fine, until EU crashes. It seems like when it tries to log back on, it forgets about region and logs on US, since US was the last(*). Is this just me?
