The bot is unable to work when you lock the computer. There is, as far as I know, no way around this. Just like it's not possible to minimize the WoW window when you run the bot.

^^ this. I've watched the Geddon quest a couple of times. It's not perfect but it does get the job done. It stands outside the AOE range, moves in for 5 ticks of the staff-beam, moves out until the AOE is gone, rince and repeat, blow up, finish quest, done.

Most quests in those zones are sequenced. You can't access the next quest hub until you've finished all quests. So no, that wouldn't be an option.
