Start at Act 1, Chapter 2, Quest 2 (second part of Legacy of cain) port to the only port available and then go west to the gates. Checkpoint in there.

better gear to farm with, pick your poison. GF for core, GF/MF for sarkoth. Normal crap to not die if they ever get act clears up an running.

On a side note was doing act 2 yesterday by hand with a friend who is also a barb and we both took different routes through the oasis and then met up on the far side with 3 elite/champ packs dropped wotb and earthquake and they all died. Barbs are looking strong. edit: meant to edit...

From what I can tell act 1 and act 2 gear farming is better than act 3-4 because you can kill stuff that much quicker/easier.

so tossing this out there. Mammon is no longer supported as it was merged with Belphegor. So the most update combat routines are downloaded when you updated DB. Also, if you use unstucker make sure you use the one to TP to town first as auto OK will cancel leaving the game.

well it was only more recently that you couldn't skip acts and get far ahead. The leveling profiles are really for grinding to certain levels then get a friend to kill the last boss in the acts for you. The devs are working on the search dungeon feature, it just isn't out yet.
