to tell you the truth unless something is really wrong I don't change the explore/monster remaining settings usually at all which after this update i have noticed some MAD backtracking on some maps so on those maps (volcano comes to mind) I would tweak those settings

flask helper or autoflask look in cross bot settings. LOOK AROUND IN there so you know what other options you have as well.
