First HB should save log files and the /log/ map. Second loading tiles is fully normal, and a slow computer or a long run can take time to make ready, and if you stop/restart HB it has to start over again, my bet is that it had to make a long run.

As topic say, HB ignores avoid mob list. Running on an open field using kicks profile in BC, Hellfire, killed on an open field by a Fel Reaver running right in to it. Log Also killed by The Spine Breaker. Log Both is in the avoid mob list.
