You can?t GB / GB2 is made for flying. if you want to go ground it is questing/grinding you need to use, the quest bot has an option "Ground mount farming mode"

Well aquatic form should be faster if you have done the intro quests. But you should be able to select mount under "Settings & Tools".

No they are disabled, they displays as they are compiled at start even as they are disabled, ass all plugins are, but they are unchecked. in the plugin tab.

Only plugin i had active was Ref detection, talented and autoequip, Bug submit? the rest was disabled.

there is one included with PB that does this 1-300 300+ everyone can fly. Just open your plugins and look for professionbuddy, then select the 1-300 ground and press start, or wait this can be maining+herb, not sure.
