Yes and Yes DB works ok on my 2nd computer .... did not work for a day or 2, but is working today In addition, the keys tab is not accessible today and exits with a message: in attached file buddyauthkeysError.txt The buddyauth keys tab was available to me yesterday.

This is a computer that db was working on, db was closed and has been unable to restart/login successfully - loggin in ... then eventually failing. I flushed my dns - still no help. I have included l log when functioning ok and more recent log when login fails

I solved this by following link to buddy prerequisites and installing the prerequisites - duh
