Hello, I am getting "Error trying to save the settings file: The file exists." The error message Outputs into the console text over and over. Which is making the bot act in an odd manor and feel very sluggish. I have both uninstalled and re installed honor buddy in two different locations and am running it as an Admin and WoW as an Admin, I am also the computer Admin on the computer. I have also disabled my anti-virus at the suggestion of other posts similar to this one. This error started to occur after it was running fine for a few months. I have attached a log to show the exact occurrences and their frequency.

move honorbuddy OUT of your documents folder to see if that helps.

make sure your running honorbuddy as an administrator and try disabling your anti-virus.

Okay, so I am running HonorBuddy as an administrator and have disabled my anti-virus and have also removed the HB program and re-installed it into another location. It is still returning the "Error trying to save the settings file: The file exists" error.

go into your honorbuddy folder, and delete the settings folder.

No change, still outputting the same error. HB acts very laggy while trying to run now as well.

Go to Programs and Features, in your windows Control panel.
Look for:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft .net framework 4.5.x
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

and Uninstall them if they are installed.
Restart your PC.

install this
https://www.thebuddyforum.com/relea...-dependency-wizard-post704565.html#post704565

and this
Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (Web Installer) for Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 SP2 Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2012 from Official Microsoft Download Center

run both as administrator.
after the both installs are completed, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
Then do one last restart.

next time if you have an issue, then report back. no need to post to tell us you'll post later.

I believe you were correct about the .net issues. Somehow the .net installation on my computer was completely corrupted so I went through and preformed a fresh install of windows, after multiple attempts to clean and correct it using the tools Microsoft provides but nothing was working. I do not believe this was a honor buddy issue unless Honor buddy somehow caused the corruption which I highly doubt, but at this point in time my issue no longer exists. Thanks for your help.
