HB ARCHIVES: Processed Issues from Honorbuddy Release threads

Why don't you read and understand the post from chinajade just above your's?

I wish HB mods could setup a way to auto delete all post that don't have logs attached as those post are meaningless and just clog up the forums.

trying to redownload/repair and getting the error

"0x80070490 - Element not found."

As HB is being downloaded, it starts at the visual c++ package 2013 and the green bar stops, restarts a few times, then it ends with the error

ive also done fresh installs of the c++ package listed in this thread, and went through the buddy wizard

Just out of curiosity since this problem is knows since 6.0 > HB-1423: ProfessionBuddy taking an excessive amount of time to cancel auctions
How do you "fight" against char going afk and offline while canceling AH ?

I hope this is the right place to post this. I'm having an issue with the newest update. I'm sorry if this is a redundant question, I really hate wasting peoples time. I typed the issue in search and didn't get a hit so I'm posting it here. Let me know what I have to do. Per attachment.
Again, I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else. I have kids and wife running around me playing the Annie Soundtrack and I'm trying to get lost in some WoW. Help...if you can. Happy New Year people.
Thanks in advance. J

try updating wow via battle net launcher your on a older patch it seems

[Edited by Highvoltz on Dec 29, 2014] This was posted in wrong thread so I moved it here.

View attachment 7876 2014-12-27 11.36.zip logs posted i notice this a big issue with it System.Net.Http, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a only happens when i load millz mage routine, when i use singular it runs just fine. i posted on the millz forum and they told me to post here because its a HB problem
everything i find out leads to the .net 4.5.1 not being installed, so i go to installer and it says it is installed so it wont install any further.... i go look for it, nothing, go to progam files nothing.. i cant uninstall it to re install. also is that even the actual problem i have been trying to self diagnose,

I would like to report a bug.

I'm running my Alliance Retribution Paladin with Holy loot specialization. My goal is to start healing dungeons and raids after I'm done questing because the new gear has Strength/Intellect on it and can be used for both specs. I'm using Kick's "[A - Quest] 98-100 Nagrand [Kick]" profile.

The bug is that the bot is selling all of my Intellect only (Holy) gear because I'm specced as Retribution. For example, it sold my Dwarven Bunker upgraded purple ilevel 624 Kuhlrath's Cursed Totem. It also sold a green healing shield (sorry, I don't have the item ID). This occurred even though Kick's profile has this:

HTML:
<SellPurple>false</SellPurple>

This leads me to think this is an Honorbuddy bug. Maybe it's just as simple as adding this to ProtectedItems.xml, but to me it seems like the bot should check both the current spec and the loot specialization before selling items (especially purples).

Here's my log:

Hi Chinajade,

Thanks for your reply! I disabled all addons and was unable to replicate the issue, so it looks like it was Scrap-related. I'm going to switch to SellJunk and see if that fixes it.

Thanks again!

Just a follow-up from my post that got archived.

Downloaded new HB. Have not even hit start yet. Changed my settings and tools to desired first. Then changed my class config. Then, upon hitting "bot config" for lazyraider 2018, to test it for the fix he made for my issue, to see if his update worked. (see lazyraider thread for details on the bug I was having)

I got this.

-net-error-jpg - Microsoft .NET Framework - error window

1792 2014-12-22 19.30.txt - Log

NOTE: clicking continue just let you keep botting without a problem. But obviously something is wrong. On my end or your end.

All I had to do was use the Buddy Dependency Wizard and boom, problem solved.

Turns out I had two Microsoft Visual C++ versions missing. 2013 Redistributable (x86) - 12.0.21005 and 2012 Redistributable (x86) - 11.0.60610.

Feel free to mark my issue as resolved, and remove my name from the "Problem should be resolved in the Support forum" on the third post of this thread. Also advise others who receive the same errors of the solution!

Thanks!
