hi,
my toon keeps getting stuck in krasang wilds trying to get a quest from a sentinal where no quest is given. her name is Lyalia and co ords are 24.73, 34.01
I keep deleting cache, restarting wow and HB but to no avail, my toon keeps flying there and keeps talking to her endlessly. I don't know if I already did the quest or I am not able to get it yet. There is no greyed exclamation mark on top of her head.

Oh i did update the svn update and copied over quest behaviour folder contents this morning before i tried again but same problem over and over.

i also have an important question: who's quest behaviours do i use because i got 3 profiles that tell me to update/copy over quest behaviours and they keep overwriting them. so which do i use/copy over last? yours?

Your log clearly shows signs of cache corruption:

There are four caches that must be cleared, and my guess is you've missed clearing one or more of them. You can find the full instructions for cleaning the cache here:

It looks like your local copy of Kick's profiles are damaged. You might try deleting your Subversion copy and re-downloading everything. Also, don't forget to re-copy across the quest behaviors Kick provides.

Just did a fresh copy... i still got problems on this profile chinajade.

Sorry you're having problems, and thank you for the fresh log.

I just did a clean install of both the Release build (.557) and the Beta build (.227). I loaded up v2311 of "[A - Quest] EK 12-58 [Kick].xml" into each and tested it.

The profiles work fine. I don't know what to tell you other than to please try again to do a clean install of Honorbuddy, and clean download of Kick's profiles.


There does not appear to be anything wrong with Kick's profiles.

I see... that seems to have solved by problem... but it skipped the Western Plaguelands quests... oh well... at least it is questing yet again.

The best I can guess is the problem is a glitch in the WoWclient.

Regardless, I've updated the profile (v2313) to retry the combine if it fails. The danger with this... if it is a WoWclient glitch, the retry could hang indefinitely retrying the combine. We'll just have to see if that happens.

<chuckles> Seems like your installation is in really bad shape.

If its skipping quests, you've also got a cache corruption issue. Remedy here:

Problem

Hello, I have a problem where the bot when started, goes over to a person and startes talkin to the person and dont do anything else, but in the bot it says it's on questpickup but the person doesnt have any quest to give.

I have noticed for the past few days while questing that any quest that requires a key does not properly finish quest. it keeps trying to free slave even after quest is completed.example quest is "finding the survivors quest in Nagrad in BC.And, its not just this quest its any quest that similar in nature. i find myself restarting HB and deleting catch way to often lately,I'm lucky if i can quest for 1 hour without any problem ,as before i would be able to leave it alone for a few hours without problems.Is there a fix to all these problems cause i notice HB not working well at all.View attachment 35296 2013-05-03 11.13.txt

Hi, Kmica, and thanks for the log.

Your answer is the same as for GGarcia (post right above yours). You need to do a 'clean install' of Honorbuddy and Kick's profiles.

I don't know how your Honorbuddy installation/Kick's profiles are getting damaged, but they are. I ran a 'clean install' test this morning to verify there was nothing wrong with Kick's profiles (and there's not).

If you figure out what's going on to damage it, please let me know. Maybe we can do something to guard against making whatever mistake is being made.

at level 79, the profile proceeds to grind till level 80 in "the storm peaks", with a rate of 140-150 kills per hour and each mob giving around 850 xp.

xp required to ding is 891000. this means it takes at least 6-7 hours of grinding.

this seems very unreasonable.

i've fixed the murloc suit issue in LK.

you guys aren't on the english client ... so i'll need you guys to dump the auraid from whatever isn't being cancelaura'd ... ie:
